I cursed a wart once
Let me tell you about my wart. I once had a wart on my foot...
This exciting adventure continues the theme of the weird and the wonderful. The odd “coincidences” I have experienced or what I like to call: hints of the unseen realm.
During a church event we were praying for someone with cancer. One overexcited person was yelling at the cancer “I curse you cancer in the name of Jesus!”. Which I found quite entertaining.
That evening as I removed my shoes I spied the hated wart, and I thought back to the praying.
So I said clearly and out loud “Wart I curse you in the name of Jesus. Be gone”. I prayed to God thanking him for all the good things he had done in the past and asked him to do this for me too. Then I forgot about it.
Until the next day, when the wart had started to shrivel around the edges. I repeated my prayer, mostly for entertainment purposes, I wasn’t truly convinced anything was happening. This time I really got into the cursing and bellowed at the top of my lungs “BE GONE in the name of Jesus, I CURSE YOU WART in the name of Jesus” and so on.
The next day it was more shrivelled and I laughed about it. I repeated the prayer and cursed the wart once again.
I looked at it on day 3 and it was dry and flat. When I prodded it, it just fell off. My foot was blemish free (and is to this day).
I could hardly believe it. It seemed so funny that God might choose to heal me of a wart. But it happened, just as I had asked. I told some people and I don’t think it had much impact on them. But for me this was huge. It was weird and it was good. It made me laugh.
It bolstered my faith up and I prayed again for this lady with cancer, with increased faith. If God would remove a wart, then why not cancer? It really encouraged me.
Warts come and go according to the internet (a reliable source of info!). You can write this off as nothing. But it is a coincidence that mine went at the exact time I cursed it and prayed.

PS – the woman who was fighting cancer had finished treatment and was cancer free the last I heard.
